Peaceful Living in a Vibrant Neighborhood
Most larger European cities have a proverbial “cool neighborhood,” whose reputation crosses national borders. In Prague, that neighborhood is Vršovice. Within the last decade, it has undergone a dynamic transformation supported not only by the local administration, but also by many neighborhood projects and initiatives. The brightest example of the new face of Vršovice is Krymská Street, which The New York Times calls one of the 12 most popular streets in Europe. Krymská and the surrounding area teem with local businesses – from bistros, cafes, and bakeries, to an art house movie theater, a yoga studio, and various pop-up projects. All of this and more is a short walk from Orelská 13, as is the elegant Havlíčkovy sady park with its own vineyard. On the opposite side, there is a sports center with a swimming pool and a shopping center. You can reach the center of Prague in a few minutes by tram, and the location’s easy access to the South Connecting Road facilitates travelling by car.
